Ship the call, not the demo

A working product beats a convincing prototype every time. Notes from shipping alone, end to end.

Prototypes are cheap and they lie. They hide the boring 80%: billing, edge cases, the 3am alert you will answer yourself.

Shipping alone means you own the whole stack and the whole consequence. That is the point — the constraint is what makes the product honest.

Demos convince. Calls ship. I would rather be reachable at 3am for something real than celebrated for something that never loaded.
